Day 9: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)
Chasing the morning sun is the best thing about my Mondays. :) Such a heavenly sight!
[31 Day Challenge: December]
I didn’t believe you
When you said you were an angel.
But your caresses
Made me feel otherwise.
I wonder why I trust
these words in the hands
of complete strangers
rather than the ones
who know me well.
Perhaps there’s a
familiarity held within
what we cannot say,
an unspoken understanding
between people who never
had to meet in order to have met.
Maybe this is also what love is,
perhaps it’s the same reason
I have given you my heart.

Watched Charlie Bartlett (2007) today since it’s been on my download software for weeks and I only remembered it now. Haha! Uhm. I love the cast and I found the story interesting. Charlie reminds me of someone though and it’s… yeah, okay, uhm.
Where’s that shrink I told myself I’d pay for with my first paycheck?
I can’t kill myself. I’ve got too many responsibilities.Principal Gardner, Charlie Bartlett (2007)
So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
